Cyber Systems Integration Engineer – Senior Principal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop integration strategies, patterns, and reference architectures for enterprise applications and services that support a Zero Trust security framework.

• Ensure that solution designs are in line with organizational security standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices, including Zero Trust, NIST, and FISMA.

• Document workflows, data flows, and dependencies related to system integration.

• Configure and deploy enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, and supporting services across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Implement authentication and authorization processes using IAM/ICAM technologies such as Okta and Microsoft AD/Entra ID.

• Build and maintain integrations among identity providers, network security tools, ITSM systems, data repositories, and enterprise services.

• Utilize SAML, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, REST, and SOAP protocols to ensure secure interoperability.

• Troubleshoot integration challenges and offer escalation support for complex system interactions.

• Integrate security controls within solutions to comply with enterprise, federal, and industry regulatory requirements.

• Assist with audit, compliance, and monitoring efforts by providing necessary integration documentation and evidence.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various technology stacks.

• Contribute to the Department of War's Zero Trust strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree; relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.

• Over 10 years of related experience.

• 15+ years of experience is preferred.

• Demonstrated excellence in Systems Integration.

• Strong expertise in networking, authentication, authorization, and enterprise security standards.

• Experience in deploying applications and services on AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle platforms.

• Solid grasp of API integration.

• Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, and enterprise security practices.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Active SECRET clearance is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.

• Strong leadership abilities with a knack for prioritizing and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

• Capability to resolve intricate IT challenges.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Experience with Federal and Department of War clients is desired.
