This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Monitor and evaluate security alerts and events to detect potential threats and anomalies.

• Conduct initial triage, classification, and severity evaluation of security alerts.

• Investigate security incidents by following established playbooks.

• Assist in incident response by gathering and documenting pertinent technical information.

• Escalate complex or confirmed incidents to Cyber Security Engineers or the Rapid Response team.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Coordinate containment and remediation efforts with on-site IT support and infrastructure teams.

• Maintain organized documentation of incidents, investigations, and results.

• Provide feedback to enhance security operations and alert mechanisms.

• Ensure prompt communication and effective transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Initial experience in IT, IT security, or a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.

• Strong enthusiasm for cyber security, threat analysis, and incident response.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Basic comprehension of common cyber attack methodologies, threats, and indicators of compromise.

• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including networks, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM or endpoint protection solutions.

• Capability to analyze logs and security events.

• Basic scripting or query skills, such as KQL, SQL, or PowerShell, are advantageous.

• Willingness to operate in a process-oriented environment.

• Drive to continually enhance technical and analytical abilities.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Additional languages, particularly German, are beneficial.
