This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage an expanding portfolio of primarily first-party cyber claims from initial notice to resolution.
• Complete a structured onboarding process and transition from supervised to independent file management.
• Evaluate coverage issues and prepare coverage letters and other relevant correspondence.
• Develop a working understanding of primary and excess insurance claim environments.
• Collaborate with customers and brokers to achieve favorable claim outcomes.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and specialized vendors, including forensic and incident response firms.
• Work alongside Operations to ensure efficient claim administration and precise data management.
• Analyze portfolio results and identify as well as explain claim trends.
• Provide claims insights on policy wording and customized client solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Actuarial, Finance, and Risk Management.
• Represent Converge at industry conferences, client events, and professional society functions as your experience develops.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 1–5 years of relevant work experience.
• High level of responsiveness and a genuine dedication to customer service.
• Composure and sound judgment in crisis situations.
• Exceptional writing skills for drafting coverage letters and customer correspondence.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Willingness to obtain necessary adjuster licenses, with support from the employer.
• Capacity to learn quickly, seek feedback, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• A legal background (J.D. or paralegal experience) or technical familiarity is advantageous.
• Previous claims handling experience and knowledge of insurance is a plus.
• Strong task and project management skills along with a goal-oriented mindset are beneficial.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
• Hands-on training and direct mentorship from seasoned cyber claims professionals.
