Claims Processor – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Report to the Claims Supervisor

• Investigate, assess, and resolve insurance claims

• Establish policy coverage for reported losses and determine suitable compensation amounts

• Collaborate closely with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to assess and review pets’ medical histories to establish a health baseline

• Investigate and manage assigned insurance claims

• Confirm coverage and compensation amounts in accordance with insurance policies

• Update the Explanation of Benefits (EOB), process payments, and finalize claims

• Request medical records from providers as necessary

• Communicate with clients and providers during treatment as required

• Carry out other assigned duties and responsibilities

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a veterinary clinic

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience (one year of relevant experience is considered equivalent to one year of college), or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

• Must possess flexible availability, as the department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

• Only residents of the United States will be considered for this position
