Cyber Assessment Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate cyber assessment results, technical findings, observations, and accompanying data.

• Perform trend and cross-assessment analyses to uncover recurring cybersecurity and mission-assurance challenges.

• Aid in the validation of assessment reports and related findings prior to their final publication.

• Recognize technical and operational deficiencies and evaluate their potential impact on missions.

• Create briefing materials, analytical summaries, and products that facilitate senior-leader decision-making.

• Collaborate with assessment teams, Action Officers, technical subject-matter experts, and supported organizations to clarify and confirm findings.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of assessment methodologies, reporting processes, and analytical products.

• Engage in assessment planning and execution activities.

• Organize and maintain assessment data and supporting documentation.

• Assist with business development initiatives, including technical interviews, documentation, proposal writing support, and proposal color reviews.

• Travel to support assessment, planning, validation, and coordination efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience.

• 10 years of directly related specialized experience is required.

• Experience in supporting DOT&E cyber operational assessments.

• Experience in supporting large-scale exercises.

• Strong skills in stakeholder engagement.

• Must be able to endure extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

• Must be open to travel as necessary; travel requirements are estimated at 20%-30%.
