Cutaneous Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical on-label subject matter expert regarding UNLOXCYT’s mechanism of action, administration protocol, safety profile, and clinical benefits.

• Facilitate infusion site readiness by training nursing staff, pharmacists, and advanced practice providers on product handling, adverse event management, and patient navigation.

• Identify and address educational needs within assigned accounts and offer onboarding support to new prescribers or care sites.

• Educate healthcare teams at infusion centers on immuno-oncology principles, infusion/injection techniques, adverse event recognition, and drug–drug interactions.

• Collaborate with Sun Pharma commercial teams on strategic account planning and targeted execution.

• Represent Sun Pharma at local, regional, and national industry conferences.

• Utilize clinical insights and feedback from healthcare professionals to shape local field tactics and national strategies.

• Compliantly engage with patient advocacy organizations to enhance disease awareness and understanding of treatment options.

• Assist in the development of internal training materials and contribute to the education and clinical proficiency of the field force.

• Work together with fellow CNE colleagues to ensure comprehensive territory coverage and shared responsibilities.

• Analyze the healthcare landscape and leverage analytics to devise clinical education plans.

• Assess engagement effectiveness and address any gaps in educational needs.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active RN license is mandatory.

• BSN is required; an MSN or another advanced nursing degree (NP, APRN, DNP) is highly encouraged.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting is essential.

• At least 5 years of clinical oncology/immunology nursing experience is required.

• OCN/AOCN/AOCNP certification is desirable, or the willingness to obtain it within 18 months of employment.

• Preferably 2+ years of experience as a field-based nurse educator or commercial educator.

• Infusion experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with oncology biologics, immunotherapies, or buy-and-bill products is highly preferred.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are necessary.

• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into engaging, patient-focused, actionable content.

• Outstanding organizational and time management skills are required.

• Familiarity with PHRMA and Sunshine Act reporting requirements is essential.

• Capability to quickly and comprehensively learn new subject matters is necessary.

• Strong business acumen and the ability to assess and apply data are required.

• Experience and established relationships with healthcare providers in the assigned territory are essential.

• Must reside within the designated territory.

• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including overnight trips, is required.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive.

• Willingness to meet vendor credentialing criteria, including vaccination requirements at healthcare facilities, is necessary.
