Customer Specifications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and facilitate the customer specification review process, engaging participants from each plant and country.

• Deliver timely specification evaluations to customers, in accordance with the customer segmentation policy.

• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure prompt responses to customer-related inquiries.

• Assess customer quality agreements with relevant plants and modify agreements to align with Ingredion's quality standards.

• Conduct meetings with customers, plant quality representatives, and sales teams to finalize agreements and specification reviews for Europe, the USA, and Canada.

• Submit regional reviews for global customer consideration.

• Organize and store completed customer specifications and quality agreements in a shared location for access by plant quality and global document teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 2 years of experience in an operational, technical, or business capacity.

• Experience with Plant Quality or Customer quality documentation is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated commitment to fostering a safe work environment.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in computer usage; experience with Salesforce and SharePoint is advantageous.

• Capability to work and engage with all levels of the Quality Organization across Europe, the USA, and Canada.

• Ability to build positive relationships with customers, team members, plants, support functions, and various functional groups.

• Strong skills in planning, organization, and time management.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Quick learner with the capacity to adapt to change, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

• Proficiency in English is required.
