This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Serve as a communication link between Labcorp, clients, and patients.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of laboratory operations across various departments.
• Address routine requests utilizing internal systems and protocols.
• Communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external clients.
• Clarify and validate customer needs to deliver effective solutions.
• Achieve productivity, quality, and service benchmarks.
• Identify underlying causes of issues and assist in preventing their recurrence.
• Conduct research and resolve intricate inquiries through database utilization.
• Review test forms for accuracy and rectify discrepancies as per standard operating procedures.
• Support initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and performance.
• Maintain precise records and CRM data in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Troubleshoot basic technical problems to minimize operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal clients to meet client needs.
• Provide patients with test results and technical information, such as specimen requirements and test turnaround times.
• Investigate complex issues and deliver effective resolutions.
• Offer a world-class customer experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service position.
• At least 1 year of experience in a contact center or call center environment.
• Reliable internet connection with a compatible provider, minimum 50 Mbps download speed.
• 1+ years’ experience with software applications such as Microsoft Office, Verint, Salesforce, or LIS.
• HIPAA-compliant, distraction-free workspace.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to multitask across various systems and typing proficiency.
• Capability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues independently.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology used in clinical settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with active listening abilities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Organized with effective time management skills in a multitasking environment.
• Self-motivated and capable of learning and applying new processes and systems.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Adaptable and responsive to shifting priorities and workloads.
• Demonstrates professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Preferred: Associate degree.
• Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in a medical setting.
• Preferred: 1 or more years of experience in the healthcare sector, such as at a physician's office or a hospital.
