This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients.
• Oversee both incoming and outgoing communications.
• Utilize web-based platforms to address customer inquiries.
• Manage and respond to customer questions effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through attentive listening.
• Handle sensitive customer information with care.
• Strive to resolve issues during the first interaction.
• Communicate appropriately and professionally with customers.
• Address and de-escalate conflicts as needed.
• Escalate situations when necessary.
• Monitor call-related data for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Provide insights on call-related issues.
• Engage in upselling when appropriate.
• Complete compensated training and prepare for the State Insurance Exam.
• Transition to the Insurance department after passing the exam and finalize onboarding steps to function as a Customer Support Specialist.
• Must be a resident of Florida or Texas.
• Must fulfill State and Federal criteria to obtain an Insurance License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service is necessary.
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute is required.
• Comfortable using desktop computer systems.
• General knowledge of Windows-based operating systems is preferred.
• Experience in customer service and/or sales is advantageous.
• A college degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to adhere to established protocols is essential.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support departments.
• Excellent communication, listening, and analytical skills are essential.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to work within a structured schedule across various shifts is necessary.
• Strong critical thinking capabilities are required.
• Must have a dedicated workspace close to a router for a hardwired Ethernet connection.
• Internet connection must have a minimum of 15 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
• Internet Service Provider latency must be under 50ms.
• Internet connection cannot be via satellite, mobile data or hotspots, P2P, or VPN.
• Proof of internet speed is required.
• 7-day paid training program.
• Access to trainers and study materials for the State Insurance Exam.
• Employer will cover all expenses associated with taking and scheduling the State Insurance Exam.
