Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Successfully complete a virtual paid training program, which includes passing weekly assessments.

• Act as the main point of contact for customers with inquiries related to utility services, such as initiating or terminating service, billing inquiries, and payment assistance.

• Handle questions, resolve complaints, and assist customers in navigating solutions.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of products, services, and policies.

• Accurately record customer interactions and transactions across all platforms and tools.

• Collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and escalate more complex problems.

• Surpass customer satisfaction targets and performance metrics.

• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and improve processes.

• Stay informed about product knowledge and industry developments.

• Work within designated hours of operation, with flexibility required on weekends and holidays.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Ability to stay focused on the phone for the duration of your shift with minimal distractions and constant sedentary work.

• Must be tech-savvy with the capability to efficiently operate multiple windows and tabs while delivering customer service over the phone.

• Excellent attendance record is essential.

• High-speed internet connection via Ethernet to the router (no satellite or hotspot), with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 35 Mbps upload speeds.

• WiFi must be disabled at all times.

• Windows updates must be up to date.

• A private, distraction-free home workspace with the ability to close a door is required.

• Must complete a drug screening.

• A background check must be completed.

• Three internet speed tests must be provided at different times of the day.

• Three photos of your home workspace must be submitted.
