Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Facilitate precise quotations, purchase orders, and work orders.

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional responses to customer inquiries.

• Maintain and enhance sales from both current active and previous inactive customers.

• Seek out new business opportunities.

• Accurately enter orders into Oracle.

• Coordinate scheduling and delivery across multiple plant locations.

• Provide product expertise and address customer support inquiries.

• Manage claims, account reconciliations, and transactions.

• Communicate promptly with relevant departments.

• Accept inbound calls and assist with basic customer requirements.

• Act as a liaison between manufacturing and customers.

• Acquire knowledge of the assigned commercial/industrial product line.

• Prepare quotes to support Outside Sales.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education is required.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• 2+ years of sales experience in construction products is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Strong mathematical skills to calculate square footage and assist customers with ordering.

• Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of organization.

• Capability to learn, understand, and apply training while exercising sound judgment in various scenarios.

• Proactive decision-making based on customer needs.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Possess project management and negotiation skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Capability to read building drawings.

• Bilingual skills are a plus but not essential.

• Previous experience in roofing is advantageous.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
