Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Facilitate precise and high-quality quotations, purchase orders, and work orders

• Exceed customer expectations consistently

• Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional responses to customer inquiries

• Sustain and enhance sales from both current active and previously inactive customers

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities

• Accurately input orders into Oracle

• Coordinate scheduling and delivery across multiple plant locations

• Offer product knowledge and address customer support queries

• Manage claims, account reconciliation, and transactions

• Communicate promptly with relevant departments

• Handle inbound calls to assist with basic customer needs

• Serve as a liaison between manufacturing and customers

• Acquire knowledge of the designated commercial/industrial product line

• Prepare quotes to support Outside Sales efforts

• Strong mathematical skills to calculate square footage and assist customers during the ordering process

• Capability to multitask with excellent organizational abilities

• Willingness to learn, comprehend, and apply training while exercising sound judgment in various scenarios

• Proactive decision-making skills based on customer requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Skills in project management and negotiation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to interpret building drawings

• Minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education is required

• Over 2 years of experience in construction product sales is advantageous, but not mandatory

• Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not essential

• Previous experience in roofing is beneficial

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
