Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Address customer inquiries through phone, chat, and email promptly and in a professional manner.

• Provide assistance to both current and potential customers regarding policy interpretation, claims-related questions, and matters concerning premiums and billing.

• Analyze and interpret insurance policy terms to ascertain eligibility for coverage.

• Clarify and explain policy details, ensuring customers fully understand the information provided.

• Manage requests for changes in coverage, account cancellations, and address customer concerns.

• Recognize customer needs and offer suitable solutions to enhance retention and satisfaction.

• Research and resolve issues by collecting necessary information and utilizing available resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role within a high-volume setting, meeting performance metrics.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow complex procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

• Capability to navigate multiple systems and resources simultaneously while ensuring accuracy.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong focus on customer service, demonstrating professional phone and email etiquette.

• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Open to coaching and feedback, committed to ongoing improvement.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Typing speed of 40–50 words per minute is required.
