Customer Relationship Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Acquire and uphold knowledge of landscaping materials and products offered by the company.

• Respond to customer inquiries and deliver precise product information.

• Assess customer needs and align them with suitable product features and advantages.

• Provide support services that enhance the productivity of sales representatives.

• Foster outstanding client relationships.

• Act as the primary contact for urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are not available.

• Manage purchasing activities and ensure inventory availability.

• Assess vendor performance based on pricing, quality, delivery, and service.

• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms, and vendor agreements as necessary.

• Analyze purchasing trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Assist in sourcing initiatives for new vendors and products.

• Identify new leads and nurture potential client relationships.

• Support the sales team in identifying and developing new business prospects.

• Ensure sales representatives have the necessary sales support materials.

• Oversee customer service processes and evaluate service performance.

• Resolve escalated customer issues.

• Manage office administration, facilities, equipment, and vendor relationships.

• Enhance administrative workflows and office systems.

• Maintain company records and documentation management processes.

• Accurately and promptly process customer orders received via phone and email.

• Verify pricing, discounts, and product numbers.

• Keep accurate sales records for senior management reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced bilingual English proficiency, both oral and written, is required.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required.

• Sales or sales-related experience is highly preferred.

• Experience in the commercial plant nursery or landscaping industry is highly preferred.

• Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills is required.

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

• Strong attention to detail is necessary.

• Capacity to remain calm, factual, and self-assured in stressful situations.

• Ability to plan and organize tasks while coordinating with multiple departments.

• Knowledge of plant identification in the Southeastern United States is highly preferred.
