This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
β’ Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims to insurance companies on behalf of hospitals and healthcare providers.
β’ Examine and resolve issues related to troubled or denied workers' compensation claims.
β’ Communicate with patient employers, insurance company representatives, attorneys, and patients.
β’ Submit bills and necessary documentation to insurance companies or relevant payers.
β’ Assess payer information and documentation when bills are incorrectly paid to determine subsequent actions.
β’ Engage in special projects to meet objectives and ensure client success.
β’ Must reside in the United States within one of the designated eligible states.
β’ Eligibility to work in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a background check is required.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
β’ Technical ability to operate multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
β’ Capability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics.
β’ Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
β’ Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
β’ Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous but not mandatory.
β’ A private, distraction-free home work environment is essential.
β’ Secure internet connection required.
β’ Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
β’ Workspace must accommodate all workstation equipment and related materials.
β’ Must be able to actively participate and remain on camera during training and regular work responsibilities.
β’ Capability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while upholding accuracy and productivity standards.
