This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims for hospital and healthcare provider clients.
• Investigate and resolve issues with denied or problematic workers' compensation claims.
• Reach out to patient employers, insurance representatives, attorneys, and patients.
• Submit bills and necessary documentation to insurance providers or relevant payers.
• Review payer details and documentation when bills are improperly paid and determine subsequent actions.
• Engage in special projects to meet objectives and ensure client success.
• Stay present, actively participate, and remain on camera during training sessions.
• Must reside in the United States within one of the designated eligible states.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Technical capability to operate multiple computer screens and software applications at the same time.
• Ability to sustain strong performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
• Skill in remaining organized while handling multiple tasks.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional context.
• Must be able to work in a private, distraction-free home office.
• A secure internet connection is a requirement.
• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.
• Workspace must accommodate required workstation equipment and related materials.
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must maintain full attention during scheduled work hours and actively participate on camera.
• Ability to manage a high volume of both inbound and outbound calls while upholding accuracy and productivity standards.
