This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.
• Conduct a high volume of outbound calls to assess, bill, and optimize payments on medical claims.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to troubled or denied workers' compensation claims.
• Communicate with patient employers, insurance company representatives, attorneys, and patients.
• Submit bills and necessary documentation to insurance companies or the appropriate payers.
• Ensure that payments to hospital and medical-provider clients are maximized.
• Review payer information and documentation when bills are incorrectly paid.
• Determine the next steps for bills that are underpaid or unpaid.
• Engage in special projects to meet team objectives and promote client success.
• Attend and actively participate in 8-10 business days of on-camera training.
• Must reside in the United States within one of the specified eligible states.
• Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Successful completion of a background check is necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Technical ability to manage multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously.
• Capability to maintain strong performance in a dynamic environment with productivity metrics.
• Ability to stay organized while multitasking.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Full attention during scheduled work hours with productivity tracking.
• Active participation on camera is required.
• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while ensuring accuracy and meeting productivity standards.
• A private, distraction-free home work environment is essential.
• Secure internet connection is mandatory.
• Home internet speeds must exceed 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
• Workspace should accommodate workstation equipment and related materials.
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is advantageous, but not mandatory.
