This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide technical pricing assistance for local, regional, and national customer concepts within Customer Operations.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for intricate tasks and processes.
• Ensure contract consistency and manage the customer master database.
• Comply with standards and deliver a precise customer experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in vendor agreements, pricing documentation, incentive documentation, maintenance of the customer master database, and contract documentation.
• Investigate, support, and resolve complex second-tier pricing inquiries and audits.
• Troubleshoot pricing calculations and execute contract linkages.
• Perform comprehensive analysis of pricing methodologies and procedures.
• Determine selling prices or apply markups to reach targeted selling prices.
• Inform Sales or Market Pricing Teams when targeted selling prices cannot be met.
• Assist Leads with training and mentoring associates.
• Draft and sustain SOPs, reference documents, and CAMS.
• Support significant and cross-functional ad hoc projects, including acquisitions, market transfers, and revenue management requests.
• Provide assistance to other Customer Operations pricing teams during peak business times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in vendor agreements or contract administration with a solid understanding of US Foods pricing rules, concepts, and processes is required.
• At least 2 years of experience using MS Office, including Outlook, with strong Excel skills for data manipulation, including filters on large data sets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUM, SUBTOTAL, COUNT, IF, CONCATENATE, and TEXT.
• Experience with two or more of the following: PeopleSoft, CASIS, PRISM, PRIME, MDM, Tandem, Discoverer, or Invoice Search Retrieval is required.
• Strong computer skills; ability to operate multiple screens using various applications simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, along with advanced algebraic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated business maturity, independent thought, and capacity to work collaboratively.
• Ability to switch between multiple tasks of varying complexities without sacrificing accuracy.
• Capability to make advanced independent decisions based on research.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes with basic training.
• Proven ability to prioritize workload, meet critical deadlines, and maintain composure under pressure in a remote or virtual setting.
• Ability to provide and receive feedback, working towards both individual and departmental goals.
• Flexibility to work extended or outside standard business hours, including holidays, sometimes with short notice.
• Occasional travel may be required (<5%).
