Customer Delivery Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define architectures at an enterprise level, create target-state designs, set standards, establish integration patterns, and develop multi-year roadmaps.

• Lead significant, impactful initiatives from the architectural vision through to execution.

• Coordinate resources across Cisco, customer, provider organizations, various regions, and business units.

• Assess and resolve challenges related to cross-architecture, including dependencies, scalability, security, operations, and trade-offs.

• Provide counsel to customer executives and technology leaders on business priorities, recommendations, costs, implications, and outcomes.

• Evaluate and integrate AI, automation, and emerging technologies that deliver tangible value.

• Shape Cisco's technology and services strategy by leveraging insights from customers.

• Enhance technical capabilities within Cisco and customer teams by nurturing architects and engineers.

• Establish reusable practices and promote uniformity across engagements.

• Represent Cisco's expertise in strategic customer interactions, technical forums, Cisco Live, and industry events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, a PhD with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent substantial work experience.

• Expected to hold expert-level certification (e.g., CCIE) or an equivalent relevant certification.

• Possess technical mastery in core architectures and extensive knowledge of enterprise technology.

• Capability to integrate Cisco and third-party technologies into cohesive and scalable solutions.

• Demonstrated architectural authority in large, intricately integrated customer environments.

• Experience in defining long-term technology strategies and addressing cross-architecture challenges.

• Proven track record in leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives across various organizations, disciplines, and business units.

• Established credibility with executive and technology leaders.

• Ability to convert business priorities and technical concepts into clear strategies and recommendations.

• Experience in developing technical resources, influencing technology or service direction, creating reusable architecture practices, or showcasing technical expertise externally.
