This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee the complete compliance program for the Molecular Lab Customer Area and the Portfolio & Project Management Global Function within Roche Diagnostics Solutions.
β’ Act as the primary compliance authority and strategic collaborator with executive business leaders.
β’ Shape cross-functional governance and address complex global risks.
β’ Design and manage the governance and strategic framework for compliance and business sustainability.
β’ Promote a culture of integrity and enhance global compliance risk management.
β’ Deliver cutting-edge compliance programs with a proactive, business-focused approach.
β’ Collaborate with the RDS Compliance leadership team and the wider global Diagnostics compliance network.
β’ Report directly to the DIA RDS Compliance Lead.
β’ Propel continuous, strategic enhancements of the overall Compliance Management Program.
β’ Create and execute a compliance strategy that aligns with Group and Divisional Compliance priorities.
β’ Establish the compliance strategic roadmap through collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders.
β’ Support the implementation of designated business unit strategies while building organizational skills and capacity.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert for the Diagnostics compliance community.
β’ Provide proactive compliance guidance, identify and manage key compliance risks, and support risk management and compliance assurance.
β’ Develop and deliver compliance training while collaborating on employee education regarding resources, risk areas, policies, procedures, and reporting.
β’ Advise and participate in governance bodies of designated business units and the DIA compliance organization.
β’ Monitor industry trends as well as national and international legal, regulatory, and political decision-making processes.
β’ Support Roche's representation in the Ethics & Code Committee of AdvaMed and other industry associations.
β’ Contribute to the compliance management program for US sites through governance architecture, training, monitoring, and assessing risks and opportunities.
β’ A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
β’ 10+ years of relevant work experience, or 7+ years with a JD.
β’ Proven understanding of the life sciences industry and its legal and regulatory landscape, including compliance, legal, regulatory, medical affairs, marketing, audit, risk, assurance, or governance.
β’ Extensive knowledge of international healthcare laws, medtech/diagnostic regulations, and industry codes.
β’ A solid track record in global healthcare, driving long-term strategy, market positioning, and patient-centered solutions.
β’ Experience leading multicultural, matrixed, and virtual teams towards shared enterprise objectives.
β’ Ability to quickly analyze complex situations and provide practical, pragmatic, and impactful business solutions.
β’ Strong skills in facilitation, stakeholder management, and change management.
β’ Project management experience in high-stakes healthcare and medtech projects.
β’ Experience in mentoring and talent development.
β’ Full fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
