Curriculum Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement technical and solution training for Velotic, along with its channels, partners, and customers.

• Identify student personas.

• Choose learning modalities, which may include eLearning, video-based training, self-guided hands-on sessions, instructor-led courses, examinations, and certification.

• Establish learning objectives and desired outcomes.

• Plan and manage projects effectively.

• Coordinate with subject matter experts.

• Create student video, HTML, and PDF resources.

• Develop presentation materials and guides for instructors.

• Design courseware templates for the Learning Management System (LMS).

• Build sample systems.

• Oversee and sustain the curriculum lifecycle.

• Analyze feedback and performance metrics.

• Review lifecycle phases and assess maintenance requirements.

• Update or adapt materials based on anticipated needs.

• Communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate across different functions with engineering, marketing, and service teams.

• Report directly to the Curriculum Leader, Velotic Education Services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or industry.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience.

• Exceptional written English proficiency.

• Proven ability to transform complex technical concepts into clear and engaging learning materials.

• Experience in documentation development and management, particularly within a software company or Center of Excellence (COE).

• Technically skilled with software tools and suites, including their operation, configuration, and extension (not programming).

• Preferred experience with industrial automation or manufacturing software.

• Experience in delivering or executing training would be advantageous.

• Ability to primarily work during PST and CST business hours.
