CTO – Project Based, Consultancy

• Integrate into strategic client programs as the primary technical authority.

• Serve as the lead technical expert within intricate client settings.

• Collaborate with C-level stakeholders to shape and enhance technology strategies.

• Convert business aspirations into actionable architectural guidance.

• Mitigate risks in large transformation initiatives by segmenting them into iterative value delivery phases.

• Provide calm and credible challenges rooted in delivery realities.

• Rapidly identify and address blockers as they emerge.

• Support and protect engineering teams to maximize their performance.

• Deliver concise reports both internally and externally.

• Proven technology leader in consultancy with a track record across various delivery engagements and extensive knowledge in Cloud and Data solutions.

• Led extensive digital transformation projects within consultancy settings.

• Effectively influenced C-suite executives, including CTOs, CIOs, and CDOs.

• Strong architectural insight across contemporary cloud and data platforms.

• Essential hands-on architectural expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, and Databricks.

• Skilled in navigating ambiguity within complex organizations.

• Capable of balancing influence, diplomacy, and commercial acumen.

• Experience in a hands-on CTO or senior technology leadership position, including involvement in engineering stand-ups and ensuring delivery quality.

• Adept at understanding engineering discussions sufficiently to identify gaps and question technical decisions.

• Proven experience in owning solution delivery and managing ongoing service or maintenance support.

• Exceptional client management abilities in senior advisory or delivery leadership capacities.

• Competent in defining practical software release processes for complex delivery environments.

• Quick adaptability and effectiveness in startup environments where priorities frequently shift.

• Proficient in managing prioritization in rapidly changing startup contexts.

• Relevant experience in insurance, reinsurance, financial services, or regulated sectors is highly advantageous.
