This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a player/coach front-line manager for a small team while directly assisting customers.
• Advocate for and empower the customer success organization.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for guidance and escalations.
• Participate in the interviewing process and identify outstanding candidates.
• Provide leadership and mentorship through active involvement in customer projects.
• Act as the main technical expert on the Cyera Platform.
• Build trusted-advisor relationships with customers, ranging from practitioners to executives.
• Promote customer adoption through effective onboarding and training.
• Comprehend customer requirements, challenges, and targeted business outcomes.
• Design and present tailored use cases utilizing a consultative approach.
• Foster ongoing platform adoption and maximize customer return on investment.
• Lead continuous customer engagement and expansion initiatives.
• Identify and address barriers to customer success alongside peers.
• Advocate for customer feedback and influence the development of the product roadmap.
• Support customer education through self-paced training materials.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting customers.
• Monitor and report on customer health, usage metrics, and overall satisfaction.
• Develop collaborative success plans with customers.
• Document and disseminate best practices both internally and externally.
• Mentor team members and assist in their professional growth.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Make a positive impact on Cyera’s Customer Success Organization, team members, and customers as a senior technical leader and manager.
• Travel 25–50% annually to engage directly with clients.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail.
• Self-starter who thrives in an ambiguous, fast-paced, deadline-driven startup environment.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, customer satisfaction, feature adoption, and customer retention.
• Previous experience collaborating with Development teams.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with cloud environments.
• 3+ years of practical experience with data technologies and cloud technologies, including databases, cloud infrastructure, and basic administration.
• Understanding of cloud networking, data and compute assets, IAM, and permissions.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with APIs and web services.
• Demonstrated expertise in DLP, Data Privacy/Protection, DSPM/CSPM, SIEM, or vulnerability management; hands-on experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a technical customer-facing role within a software company.
• Proven history of managing customer relationships, including onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative team player.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in leading executive meetings and technical workshops.
• Capacity to work independently on complex challenges with limited documentation.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% annually.
