Crop Claims Specialist, Claims Crop Field Adjuster I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Collect and evaluate pertinent information to assess liability in accordance with established procedures.

• Review relevant policy coverage to ascertain whether losses are covered.

• Engage in reviews and referrals initiated by the Risk Management Agency to ensure operational integrity and quality assurance.

• Safeguard Zurich’s reputation by maintaining the confidentiality of claims information.

• Enhance professional and technical expertise through educational opportunities, industry developments, personal connections, and professional organizations.

• Travel within the designated territory and potentially beyond to assist with workloads, participate in CAT teams, and provide remote support for claims inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with at least 6 months of experience in the agricultural sector for the position of Crop Claims Field Adjuster I.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the agricultural or crop insurance field for the role of Crop Claims Specialist.

• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be acquired within 180 days of the hire date.

• Reliable personal transportation is necessary.

• Travel within the assigned territory is required; Crop Claims Specialists may need to travel outside their designated area to assist with workloads, participate in CAT teams, and provide remote assistance.

• Capability to walk up to 3 miles in agricultural fields.

• Ability to climb agricultural storage bins up to 25 feet.

• Capacity to lift between 25 lbs and 50 lbs.

• Willingness to work outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the state of Kentucky.
