Claims Associate – Consumer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Evaluate claims and establish benefits owed in accordance with credit card or other financial program benefit plans.

• Ensure prompt payments and adjustments for designated program claims.

• Deliver exceptional customer service.

• Process first-party property claims based on the fundamental coverage outlined in client-specific programs.

• Make coverage decisions based on investigation and assessment.

• Adjudicate appropriate settlements or denials within the designated authority level.

• Manage a high volume of claims, phone inquiries, and correspondence.

• Accurately document claim files.

• Achieve quality and production targets, customer standards, and deadlines.

• Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Required licenses or a willingness/ability to pursue necessary licensing as mandated.

• One (1) year of general office experience or an equivalent blend of education and experience is required.

• Experience in the claims industry is preferred.

• Understanding of first-party property and casualty claim adjudication relevant to the line of business.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.

• Proficient in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Possess analytical and interpretive capabilities.

• Demonstrate good organizational skills.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Capability to meet or surpass Performance Competencies.

• A credit security clearance is required, verified through a background credit check.
