CRM Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Configure and tailor Zoho CRM modules, layouts, forms, fields, profiles, roles, and permissions.

• Design and sustain custom functionality within Zoho CRM and associated Zoho applications.

• Execute business workflows, blueprints, automation, approval processes, and notifications.

• Generate custom reports, dashboards, KPIs, and analytical solutions.

• Set up CRM environments according to established solution designs and implementation specifications.

• Create custom solutions utilizing Zoho Deluge, JavaScript, REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, custom functions, and serverless integrations.

• Author, test, deploy, and assist in CRM scripts and automation.

• Develop reusable components and establish development standards for various company implementations.

• Diagnose, optimize, and enhance existing CRM functionalities.

• Create and maintain integrations between Zoho CRM and ERP, financial, support, marketing automation, eCommerce, and external systems.

• Construct API connections and middleware solutions.

• Facilitate data synchronization and workflow automation across multiple platforms.

• Aid in data migration projects from Salesforce, NetSuite CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, and legacy CRM systems.

• Conduct data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration support.

• Develop import and validation scripts to enhance migration efficiency and data integrity.

• Troubleshoot CRM-related issues and offer technical support.

• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve technical challenges.

• Engage in testing, deployment, and release management processes.

• Maintain development, testing, and production environments.

• Support CRM upgrades and the deployment of new features.

• Collaborate with the Corporate CRM Architect, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to create and sustain scalable CRM solutions for multiple companies within a unified CRM framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 4+ years of experience in CRM development, software engineering, or business systems development.

• Practical experience in configuring, customizing, and developing within enterprise CRM platforms, preferably Zoho CRM.

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Sage Intacct, NetSuite CRM, or QuickBooks.

• Extensive experience in developing and supporting REST API integrations and third-party system integrations.

• Proficient in Zoho Deluge scripting and workflow automation.

• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and XML.

• Experience in CRM customization, workflow design, business process automation, and data migration.

• Background in implementing, enhancing, or migrating CRM solutions.

• Understanding of integration architecture, data mapping, and system troubleshooting.

• Experience with the Zoho One ecosystem, including Zoho Flow, Zoho Creator, Zoho Analytics, and Zoho Desk, is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce administration or development is advantageous.

• Experience using Git or other source control systems.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities with the capacity to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding documentation and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
