CRM Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Connect business goals with technical execution for both clients and internal teams.

• Collaborate with CRM, customer data, Martech, and engineering departments.

• Gain insights into business challenges and develop use cases and customer journeys.

• Specify requirements and ensure that initiatives are prepared for implementation.

• Serve as a reliable stakeholder partner throughout the delivery process.

• Conduct workshops and sessions with stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into requirements, epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and backlog items.

• Oversee, enhance, and prioritize backlogs alongside Product Owners and delivery teams.

• Examine customer journeys, data flows, APIs, integrations, and platform interactions.

• Collaborate with CRM, Data, Engineering, and Solution teams to guarantee that requirements are fulfilled as intended.

• Assist with customer journey, audience strategy, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing use cases.

• Promote alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Identify obstacles, dependencies, risks, and opportunities, and drive resolutions.

• Engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Enhance requirements, documentation, delivery processes, and methods of working across client engagements.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a background in supporting Product Ownership or Agile delivery teams.

• Extensive experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business, functional, technical, and data requirements in complex enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated ability to convert business requirements into actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and prioritized backlogs.

• Strong knowledge of customer data, integrations, APIs, CDPs, identity resolution, CRM, and customer engagement ecosystems.

• Experience with platforms like Braze, Databricks, Snowflake, mParticle, Hightouch, Segment, or similar Martech and customer data technologies.

• Good understanding of customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalization, lifecycle marketing, and customer engagement use cases.

• Excellent workshop facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with technical and senior business stakeholders.

• Comfortable with challenging assumptions, identifying dependencies, and clarifying ambiguous or complex issues.

• Proficient in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart, or similar delivery and collaboration platforms.

• Proficiency in English at a C1 level.

• A valid work visa is required; sponsorship is not available.

• Contractors must provide proof of incorporation and current insurance.

• Desirable: experience in consultancy, digital agency, or embedded client delivery environment.

• Desirable: experience supporting Product Owners or performing Product Owner responsibilities.

• Desirable: background in CRM, Martech, loyalty, retail, travel, airline, or other B2C environments.

• Desirable: familiarity with customer analytics, experimentation, and performance measurement frameworks.

• Desirable: experience in customer journey orchestration, personalization, customer data strategy, or identity resolution programs.

• Desirable: understanding of the broader Martech and AdTech ecosystems and their relationship with customer data platforms.
