Crisis Intervention Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Deliver urgent professional mental health services to both children and adults on a rotating schedule, ensuring 24/7 coverage.

• Respond to inquiries via phone or in person within a designated timeframe.

• Conduct emergency screenings and assessments to ascertain suitable levels of care.

• Operate in accordance with current Lighthouse protocols for crisis diversion services.

• Collaborate with medical professionals, law enforcement, court officials, and/or other mental health experts to finalize assessments.

• Provide backup support for fellow team members as required.

• Timely submission of necessary reports and logs.

• Ensure accurate documentation within the EMR system.

• Complete the CBA process documentation for assessed placement needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s degree in a mental health or substance abuse-related discipline from an accredited institution, along with two (2) years of professional experience in clinical service delivery, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Oklahoma State Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LADC - MH.

• Significant expertise in working with children.

• Proficiency in addressing social, emotional, and addiction-related issues.

• Ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas in both written and verbal communication.

• Skill in exercising sound judgment when evaluating situations and making decisions.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance.
