Crisis Intervention Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Deliver emergency mental health services to both children and adults on a rotating schedule, ensuring 24/7 availability.

• Respond promptly by phone or in person within designated timeframes.

• Conduct emergency screenings and assessments to ascertain appropriate levels of care.

• Operate in accordance with existing Lighthouse procedures for crisis diversion services.

• Collaborate with medical professionals, law enforcement, courts, and other mental health experts to complete necessary assessments.

• Provide backup support for team members when required.

• Timely submission of necessary reports and logs is essential.

• Accurately document information in the EMR system.

• Complete the CBA process documentation based on assessed placement needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fulfillment of the curriculum requirements for a Master’s degree in a mental health or substance abuse-related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a professional role delivering clinical services, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Oklahoma State Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LADC - MH is required.

• Significant skills in working with children are essential.

• Proficiency in effectively addressing social, emotional, and addiction-related issues.

• Ability to clearly and concisely convey ideas in both written and oral communication.

• Competence in exercising sound judgment when evaluating situations and making decisions.

• A valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance must be maintained.
