Crisis Intervention Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Deliver emergency professional mental health services to both children and adults on a rotating 24/7 schedule.

• Respond promptly, either by phone or in person, within designated timeframes.

• Conduct emergency screenings and assessments to ascertain the appropriate levels of care.

• Operate in accordance with Lighthouse protocols for crisis diversion services.

• Collaborate with medical professionals, law enforcement, the court system, and other mental health experts to complete assessments.

• Provide backup support for fellow team members as necessary.

• Ensure timely submission of required reports and logs.

• Accurately complete documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

• Fulfill CBA process documentation requirements based on assessed placement needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of the curriculum requirements for a Master’s degree in a mental health or substance abuse-related field from an accredited institution, along with two (2) years of experience in a professional role delivering clinical services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Oklahoma State Licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LADC - MH.

• Significant skill in working with children.

• Proficiency in effectively addressing social, emotional, and addiction-related issues.

• Capability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in both written and verbal communication.

• Sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Personal automobile insurance is necessary.

• Ability to deliver emergency mental health services on a rotating 24/7 schedule.

• Experience in completing clinical documentation and reports within an EMR system.
