Crisis Clinician, Telehealth – Emergency Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Deliver behavioral health crisis consultation services and related service provision for youth, adults, and geriatric populations within a hospital environment.

• Conduct assessments, treatment interventions, and crisis counseling.

• Oversee the acute phase of clients experiencing behavioral health crises; assess, triage, and refer clients to suitable services.

• Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with hospital staff and other service providers.

• Effectively utilize supervision, share relevant information, accept constructive feedback, and seek guidance for challenging cases.

• Stay updated on resources, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Answer telephone calls as necessary and provide prompt assessment and subsequent support.

• Adhere to emergency department performance specifications.

• Achieve productivity standards.

• Maintain a professional attitude.

• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.

• Conduct evaluations in the hospital, either in person or via telehealth; this position is performed remotely via telehealth.

⛳️ Requirements

• LICSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist, master's level clinician, or psychiatric nurse (RN) is required.

• Preferred experience and training in emergency psychiatric services with adults, youth, and their families, including training in de-escalation techniques and emergency services care systems.

• Required effective communication and organizational skills.

• Proficient computer skills and the ability to complete documentation electronically are required.

• Vaccination against influenza is mandatory as a condition of employment.
