Credit Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Perform individual (consumer) credit evaluations based on established criteria, policies, and approval authority limits.

• Access credit bureaus and various customer registration data sources.

• Refer cases that exceed assigned authority limits, involve discrepancies, or need qualitative assessment to the Senior Credit Analyst.

• Examine income verification documents.

• Ensure the validity and consistency of the submitted information.

• Identify discrepancies, incomplete information, or potential fraud indicators.

• Organize and prioritize the request queue in alignment with the defined SLA.

• Update analysis statuses within the system.

• Finalize the closing case file and link it to the system.

• Maintain an organized and traceable analysis history.

• Contribute data for portfolio reports and performance metrics.

• Collaborate effectively with the Senior Credit Analyst.

• Propose enhancements to analysis criteria, workflows, and policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in individual (consumer) credit analysis or similar fields such as customer service, collections, or financial operations.

• Fundamental understanding of credit concepts, including credit scores, income commitments, and credit bureau regulations.

• Familiarity with credit bureaus and CRM systems.

• Knowledge of document scrutiny and fraud prevention techniques.

• Experience with scoring systems and automated decision-making engines.

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• Background in fintech companies, banks, financial institutions, or rental guarantee services.

• University degree, associate degree, technical degree, or relevant vocational training.

• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
