This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on credit and underwriting tasks, conducting analytical work.
• Utilize critical thinking to identify and draft necessary documentation.
• Accurately input indicative credit information into banking systems.
• Create risk-rating scorecards and tickler event analyses, coordinating actions with Portfolio Managers.
• Develop risk models and inform Portfolio Managers of any obstacles impacting client expectations.
• Identify necessary monitoring analysis activities.
• Confirm covenants and define updates for tickler systems.
• Oversee covenant completion and track any overdue or non-compliant covenants.
• Evaluate covenant compliance reporting and pinpoint any issues.
• Review covenant compliance certificates and decide on appropriate actions.
• Update financial covenants and perform necessary calculations.
• Execute Probability of Default models with supervision.
• Assess completed spreads and identify necessary revisions with the CCU team.
• Suggest initial portfolio management actions utilizing Credit Service reporting and RADAR insights.
• Prepare ALSR reports under guidance.
• Conduct risk and projection modeling.
• Complete underwriting processes with limited guidance.
• Accurately create and finalize CAMs.
• Review and revise renewals for less complex deals.
• Conduct portfolio analysis and generate Portfolio Reviews for client meetings.
• Provide support to Portfolio Managers and contribute to special projects.
• Address deficiencies and escalate questions or disputes as necessary.
• Potentially assist in training new employees.
• May participate in special projects assigned by management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business (such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
• Over 2 years of experience in Commercial Banking.
• Strong understanding of financial and risk analysis, including the ability to create financial models.
• Extensive knowledge of banking products and services.
• Familiarity with corporate business structures and legal documentation.
• General awareness of U.S. government regulations.
• Proficient in internal banking applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimal travel is required.
