Credit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess credit applications and obtain credit reports.

• Request trade references, financial statements, and any additional information necessary for credit evaluations.

• Analyze current customer credit files, including financial statements, account histories, competitor assessments, personal guarantees, and letters of credit.

• Engage with customers to gain insights into their businesses, solicit information, negotiate terms, and present options.

• Relay credit review outcomes and provide guidance to internal teams.

• Evaluate custom orders, set deposits and terms, and keep accurate records of custom orders.

• Track and report on specific customers and customer segments.

• Maintain customer account details within SanMar databases.

• Execute additional assigned tasks as necessary.

• Adhere to all company policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in credit or accounts receivable, or equivalent educational background.

• Background in risk management and decision-making processes.

• High proficiency in computer systems and software applications.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Effective negotiation skills with a track record of achieving positive outcomes.

• Capacity to communicate with diplomacy and tact.

• Eagerness and ability to learn new concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate within a team and work independently with minimal supervision.

• Friendly and adaptable, with the capability to shift priorities swiftly and positively.

• Availability to work standard hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

• Occasional travel may be required.

• Must be capable of performing extended periods of computer work and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing 10–15 pounds.
