Credit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assess credit applications, obtain credit reports, request trade references, financial statements, and additional details to make informed credit decisions within established guidelines.

• Evaluate existing customer credit files, analyze financial statements, account history, competitor data, personal guarantees, and letters of credit.

• Engage with customers to understand their business needs, request necessary information, negotiate terms, and offer solutions.

• Relay credit review findings and guidance to internal teams.

• Review custom orders, establish deposits and terms, and manage custom order documentation.

• Monitor and report on designated customers and customer segments.

• Keep customer account information updated in SanMar databases.

• Execute other assigned tasks as needed.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant credit or accounts receivable experience, or equivalent educational background.

• Background in risk management and decision-making.

• High proficiency in computer and software applications.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Capability to communicate with diplomacy and tact.

• Willingness and ability to learn.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function as part of a team and be self-motivated with minimal supervision.

• Approachability and flexibility, with the ability to change course quickly and positively, recognizing opportunities for mutually beneficial solutions.

• Capacity to work standard hours from 8:00–5:00 PST.
