This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Adhere to and uphold the policies and protocols for credentialing and clinic licensure.
• Ensure that reports detailing the credentialing status of providers are current and precise.
• Verify that all clinic information is accurate in payer directories.
• Process applications, validate information, investigate application details, and guarantee that procedures are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Keep the credentialing database and online systems updated with current information for each provider.
• Oversee the credentials and licenses of staff members.
• Collaborate closely with the Credentialing Manager and billing personnel to pinpoint and address denials or authorization issues concerning provider credentialing.
• Fulfill revalidation requests received from payers.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
• 2-3 years of experience in Billing and Credentialing.
• In-depth understanding of HIPAA operational standards.
• Familiarity with major payer portals and CAQH management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, through email, Slack, and in-person interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with individuals both within and outside the department.
• Capacity to bring organization and accuracy to complex datasets.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology appropriate for the role.
• Reliable access to high-speed internet.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
