This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the onboarding and credentialing of providers with state boards.
• Oversee and assess credentialing files on the credentialing platform to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct primary source verifications through various state and national resources.
• Acquire new and renewed state licenses for providers.
• Contribute to the creation of internal credentialing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, licensing requirements, regulations, procedures, and policies.
• Report directly to the Credentialing Manager.
• Collaborate closely with the Credentialing Manager and Credentialing Lead.
• Keep provider credentials accurate and up-to-date.
• Assist with licensing initiatives and ongoing compliance efforts.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and initiatives.
• 2-3 years of pertinent professional experience in credentialing.
• Understanding of credentialing principles, best practices, and medical terminology.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and a heavy workload concurrently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes and challenges.
• People-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficient in establishing priorities while independently coordinating day-to-day tasks.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and discretion in all communications regarding credentialing applicants and/or applications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
