This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the onboarding and continuous credentialing of providers with state regulatory boards.
• Oversee and verify the accuracy and completeness of credentialing files within the credentialing platform.
• Conduct primary source verifications through various national and state resources.
• Acquire new and renewed state licenses for healthcare providers.
• Engage in the creation and enhancement of internal credentialing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, licensing standards, regulations, procedures, and policies.
• Report directly to the Credentialing Manager.
• Collaborate closely with both the Credentialing Manager and Credentialing Lead.
• Assist in licensing efforts and keep provider credentials accurate and current.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and initiatives.
• 2-3 years of pertinent professional experience in the field of credentialing.
• Familiarity with credentialing principles, best practices, and medical terminology.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects and a substantial workload simultaneously while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management capabilities.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to evolving challenges.
• People-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and independently managing daily operations.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality and exercise discretion in all communications related to credentialing applicants and applications.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
