Credentialing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect and finalize provider credentialing documentation.

• Collaborate directly with providers and healthcare facilities across the nation to secure hospital privileges.

• Foster relationships with healthcare facilities while gaining insight into their credentialing procedures.

• Efficiently and proactively complete provider credentialing files in accordance with company standards.

• Deliver customer support through telephone, email, fax, and written communication.

• Provide assistance to team members as needed.

• Manage tasks within tight deadlines while ensuring both speed and accuracy.

• Update providers, medical staff offices, and internal sales teams on the status of credentialing processes.

• Utilize the VISTA application to prioritize tasks and sustain thorough, accurate activity logs.

• Support reception duties and handle incoming customer calls, directing them to the appropriate VISTA personnel.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma is required.

• An Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• At least 2 years of customer service experience is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning proprietary software.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• A positive, approachable, and professional representative of VISTA Staffing Solutions.

• Capable of taking direction and executing tasks efficiently and promptly.

• Detail-oriented, accurate, and possesses excellent research skills.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Skilled in using sensory abilities to effectively communicate and engage with colleagues and the public via telephone, email, video conferencing, and in-person interactions.

• Capable of using manual dexterity, visual acuity, and auditory acuity to operate office-related equipment.

• Able to sit for extended durations at a keyboard and workstation.

• Capable of lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally.
