Credentialing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Monitor renewal deadlines for all active NP, MD, and RN licenses, ensuring clinical staff are prompted to initiate renewals.

• Collaborate with CVO and providers to ensure timely submissions for license renewals.

• Oversee CAQH re-attestation cycles every 60–90 days.

• Maintain and verify provider CAQH profiles for accuracy and completeness.

• Manage revalidation cycles at the group level for Medicare and Medicaid.

• Handle recredentialing, demographic updates, and enrollment updates with payers.

• Track submission statuses and follow up on any outstanding items.

• Gather and update provider documentation, including licenses, addresses, board certifications, and CPR certifications.

• Oversee credentialing offboarding processes for departing providers.

• Assist with new-state expansion efforts, including new-state license applications and group enrollment submissions.

• Support CVO or vendor-coordinated workflows during periods of new market surges.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage deadline-driven, recurring workflows.

• Strong organizational abilities, capable of tracking multiple providers across various credentialing cycles and platforms at once.

• Effective communication skills for coordinating with clinical staff regarding documentation requirements.

• Proficient in using spreadsheets and tracking tools.

• Must have a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home workspace, with reliable internet and cell phone access.

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare licensing operations or credentialing support is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with CAQH and clinical licensing management is advantageous.
