This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and facilitate the credentialing, onboarding, and appointment processes for agents and agencies with insurance carriers.
• Assess and confirm the completeness and compliance of licensing, E&O insurance, background checks, certifications, and other essential documentation.
• Keep precise records in the agency management, licensing, and credentialing systems.
• Track license renewals, carrier appointments, certifications, and compliance deadlines to ensure uninterrupted selling authority.
• Submit and monitor carrier appointment applications along with related onboarding documentation.
• Liaise with agents, agencies, carriers, and internal stakeholders concerning missing documentation, status updates, and credentialing requirements.
• Ensure adherence to state insurance regulations, carrier guidelines, and internal policies.
• Assist in audit and reporting tasks related to licensing, appointments, and compliance.
• Support onboarding initiatives for new franchise locations, agencies, or producers.
• Proactively identify and resolve credentialing discrepancies or delays.
• Safeguard the confidentiality and security of sensitive producer and company data.
• Generate reports and maintain tracking metrics associated with credentialing turnaround times and compliance status.
• Achieve success metrics such as timely onboarding and appointments, accurate record-keeping, reduced processing delays, positive partner experiences, and audit readiness.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, licensing, credentialing, compliance, or administrative roles is preferred.
• Prior experience in personal lines insurance, agency operations, or carrier appointment processing is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Understanding of insurance licensing and carrier appointment procedures.
• Familiarity with state insurance regulations and compliance standards.
• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Experience with NIPR, Sircon, or state licensing systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of personal lines insurance products and distribution models is preferred.
• Experience in supporting franchise or multi-location agency settings is preferred.
• An insurance license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Availability to work standard business hours, with occasional overtime during peak onboarding periods.
