Creative Technologist – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Quickly conceptualize, prototype, and deliver AI-driven demos linked to emerging models, capabilities, and use cases.

• Investigate new generative AI models, APIs, tools, and capabilities while pinpointing engaging applications.

• Utilize AI-assisted development, “vibe coding,” and rapid experimentation to transition from concepts to functional experiences.

• Create functional prototypes, streamlined applications, interactive experiences, and demos aimed at developers.

• Convert experiments into operational code, screen recordings, short-form social media content, technical tutorials, and open-source repositories.

• Collaborate with creative, design, engineering, and production teams while offering a robust technical perspective.

• Iterate swiftly based on feedback from creative and technical sources, ensuring a balance between speed, craftsmanship, and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in creative technology, prototyping, creative development, or a related technical field.

• A portfolio showcasing functional prototypes, interactive experiences, experiments, or other technically oriented creative projects.

• Significant hands-on experience working with Gemini and Google's AI developer ecosystem, including its models, APIs, tools, and capabilities.

• Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, multimodal models, APIs, and AI-assisted development workflows.

• An active curiosity about the evolving AI landscape, coupled with proven depth in the Gemini ecosystem.

• Proficient coding and prototyping abilities using contemporary front-end frameworks and development tools.

• Comfortable experimenting with newly released models and capabilities in the absence of a predefined playbook.

• Strong creative instincts and comprehension of what makes a technical demo engaging, useful, entertaining, or worthy of sharing.

• Capability to work autonomously and transition swiftly from an ambiguous concept to a functional prototype with minimal guidance.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in an accessible and exciting manner to both developers and wider consumer audiences.

• Experience in developing content for developers, social-first creative projects, technical tutorials, or open-source initiatives is advantageous.
