Course Instructor – Psychology of Crime

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Instruct CC210 VA1: Psychology of Crime during the Fall 2026 semester, from September 10 to December 23.

• Investigate the sources of individual differences in criminal behavior through a psychological lens.

• Familiarize students with biological, developmental, cognitive, and psychiatric frameworks explaining criminal behavior.

• Examine the links between criminality and factors such as genetics, brain function, psychophysiology, mental health disorders, personality development, and social learning.

• Conduct the course in a virtual and asynchronous format.

• Anticipate teaching a class of approximately 150 students.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s Degree is mandatory.

• An MA in Criminology or Psychology is preferred.

• Relevant work experience in the field is advantageous.

• Previous teaching experience is beneficial.

• A MEd/EdD will not fulfill the minimum educational criteria.

• CV should be limited to 10 pages, formatted in 12-point font with 2.54 cm margins.

• Submission of a Candidate Application Form is required.

• External candidates must present proof of their highest degree prior to contract issuance.

• External applicants need to provide names and contact details for referees.
