Country Manager – Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take on comprehensive responsibility for the organization.

• Manage the P&L entirely while meeting growth and profitability objectives.

• Collaborate closely with the current team to enhance and further develop the software platform, integrating customer feedback and adapting to changing market demands.

• Spearhead the integration of AI capabilities and pinpoint practical applications to elevate the platform, improve customer experience, and boost efficiency.

• Convert customer requirements and market intelligence into defined product priorities and development projects.

• Guide, inspire, and cultivate a small, expert team.

• Work in partnership with the private equity shareholder and the Board to execute the Value Creation Plan.

• Prepare the organization for a potential exit strategy.

• Collaborate with the founder and current CEO during a transition period lasting approximately 6 to 9 months.

• Assume CEO duties as part of a planned leadership succession.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a B2B software environment.

• Prior P&L accountability, preferably in roles such as Country Manager, Managing Director, General Manager, CEO, or similar leadership positions.

• In-depth knowledge of software products and their business models.

• Genuine interest in AI and its practical applications within software solutions and business processes.

• Customer-oriented mindset with experience in transforming customer insights into product enhancements.

• Capability to blend strategic vision with a practical, hands-on approach.

• Proficiency in German and strong English language skills are mandatory.

• Excellent communication abilities when engaging with customers, employees, shareholders, and various stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
