This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Work remotely from the state of South Carolina
• Assist in the activities related to counseling services and manage daily administrative tasks
• Help with scheduling and entering transcripts
• Contribute to College and Career initiatives
• Respond to calls and webmails for the Counseling Department
• Aid in projects and activities within the Counseling Department
• Input high school transcripts for new enrollees, dual enrolled, and summer school students
• Complete course scheduling for newly enrolling high school students
• Enter information into the online student information system
• Generate reports and process transcript requests
• Assist with College and Career outreach efforts aimed at students and families
• Provide support to parents, students, and school staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Prior experience working with school-aged students
• Proficient technology skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
• Must have the capability to utilize a personal electronic device and an email address for 2-step authentication
• A Master’s Degree in School Counseling is preferred
• Experience in High School Counseling in South Carolina
• Familiarity with Parchment and PowerSchool systems
• Understanding of the South Carolina Uniform Grading Policy and Activity Coding System
• Knowledge of South Carolina colleges, scholarships, and NCAA regulations
• Certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator
