Cost Containment Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assist TrueScripts' members in obtaining the most affordable medications through various programs

• Organize the administrative tasks necessary for identifying and pursuing cost-saving opportunities

• Collaborate with members to determine suitable low-cost medication options

• Conduct outreach to members to collect necessary information

• Engage with physician offices and pharmacies

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in relevant systems and workflows

• Oversee cost containment program queues and complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes

• Facilitate refill or renewal outreach initiatives

• Create and maintain reports and metrics related to the cost containment program's activities

• Execute administrative tasks including faxing, mailing, scanning, data entry, documentation, and outreach

• Safeguard member privacy and uphold the confidentiality of member and patient information

• Work in conjunction with Clinical team members to uncover medication-affordability opportunities

• Provide compassionate service to members facing financial or medication-access difficulties

• Identify areas for enhancing patient assistance processes, workflows, and member experiences

• Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinical Director

• Bachelor's degree in business, pharmacy, insurance, or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory

• Background in a pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or insurance benefits environment is preferred

• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician is beneficial

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information

• Familiarity with plan benefits
