This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the stewardship, solicitation, and prospecting efforts of corporate donors to achieve annual fundraising goals.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with the business community in collaboration with the Institutional Giving team.
• Manage a portfolio of current and potential companies and organizations capable of making gifts of up to $1M.
• Ensure donor renewals and enhance corporate support over time.
• Assist with Capital and Endowment Campaigns.
• Execute integrated corporate engagement opportunities, events, and program initiatives.
• Deliver high-touch donor stewardship through reports, acknowledgment letters, and regular written communication.
• Conduct corporate research and utilize contact management systems to maintain donor and prospect information in Salesforce.
• Support the planning of fundraising and cultivation events alongside Development and Communications staff.
• Represent the NAACP at events and gatherings with key donors, partners, and influencers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Development Director or their designee.
• 5 to 7+ years of fundraising experience within mission-driven nonprofit organizations or similar business development or advocacy settings.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Exceptional relationship-building abilities with funders, organizational leaders, and team members.
• Superior written communication skills and experience in crafting compelling funding proposals.
• Familiarity with donor databases and/or CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Proficient in Salesforce.
• Capability to multitask in a dynamic, complex environment.
• Strong organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail.
• Excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across various programs and departments.
• Competence in managing multiple complex fundraising relationships simultaneously.
• Skill in balancing priorities and meeting deadlines.
