Corporate Relations Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and reach out to new manufacturers in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, OTC products, hygiene products, and supplies.

• Investigate potential donors based on product requirements, CSR priorities, product offerings, partnership interests, and employee engagement areas.

• Keep abreast of industry developments and examine conference and event participants to spot potential corporate benefactors.

• Assist in strategies aimed at engaging corporate leadership, employees, and related corporate foundations.

• Create engagement plans for prospective gift-in-kind donors and manage an assigned caseload.

• Represent MAP International at authorized industry conferences, events, and gatherings.

• Conduct research initiatives to enhance gift-in-kind and monetary revenue.

• Oversee, nurture, and strengthen relationships with leading pharmaceutical companies, guided by the Senior Director of Corporate Relations.

• Communicate with current and prospective pharmaceutical company donors while managing associated administrative duties and deadlines.

• Organize agendas and facilitate productive meetings with corporate partners.

• Contribute to the Corporate Relations Team’s annual targets for gift-in-kind and cash contributions.

• Develop presentations for corporate employees or key stakeholders.

• Draft grant applications and funding proposals for gift-in-kind or monetary donations, and manage reports on donor feedback.

• Assist in corporate donor audits, including pre-audit reporting and communication.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in the CRM portfolio.

• Adhere to the Corporate Relations communication plan to consistently engage assigned portfolio donors.

• Secure disaster relief funding from corporate partners during crises or humanitarian emergencies.

• Aid in annual report engagement, tax processes, receiving, shipping, storytelling, and regular update presentations.

• Serve in one or more Corporate Relations subject matter expert roles and assist other SMEs.

• Utilize data visualization software to create engaging presentations.

• Support special projects that promote corporate involvement, program development, MAP growth, and the MAP 2030 Vision.

• Collaborate with teams in Corporate Relations, Partnership and Innovations, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Preferred 2–5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and health supply industry and/or non-profit sector.

• Project Management experience is preferred.

• Desired experience in GIK procurement (Sales), Fundraising, and/or Marketing.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills and a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to perform under pressure with strict deadlines.

• Self-motivated, confident individual capable of working independently as well as in team settings.

• Competence in independently leading productive meetings.

• Strong interpersonal skills for relationship development.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.

• Experience with a CRM system is preferred.

• Excellent phone communication skills, clear enunciation, and an understanding of the significance of donor relationships.

• Ability to prioritize effectively and make sound decisions.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently.

• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, and communicate effectively.

• Capability to regularly lift and/or move items up to 5 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.

• Adequate vision, color vision, and focus adjustment abilities for extensive computer-related work.
