Corporate Legal Consultant – Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as vendor contracts, client MSAs/SOWs, NDAs, partnership agreements, and reseller contracts.

• Provide guidance on corporate structuring and governance within Uvation's multi-entity framework.

• Oversee regulatory compliance across various jurisdictions, including GDPR, UAE data protection laws, employment legislation, and compliance related to specific technology/infrastructure sectors.

• Assist with contractor and employment agreements in collaboration with HR, including cross-border contractor arrangements and addressing worker-classification risks.

• Offer advice and manage disputes with vendors/suppliers, resolve invoice discrepancies, and handle contractual escalations.

• Support legal work related to fundraising, investment, or M&A as necessary.

• Coordinate with external counsel when local representation is required.

• Maintain corporate documentation, board resolutions, and statutory filings across multiple entities.

• Proactively identify and communicate legal and regulatory risks to leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and valid bar admission/license in UAE and/or a European jurisdiction.

• 5–8 years of experience in corporate/commercial legal practice.

• Ideally possess in-house or corporate law firm experience serving clients in the technology/infrastructure sector.

• Proven experience with cross-border contracts and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

• Familiarity with GDPR and UAE data protection regulations.

• Experience advising on contractor versus employee classification issues across different jurisdictions.

• Preferred background in the technology, cloud infrastructure, or AI/GPU industries.

• Experience with Deel or comparable EOR/contractor management platforms is preferred.

• Capability to operate independently across jurisdictions with minimal local precedent.

• Strong ability to identify risks early and articulate them in straightforward language.
