Corporate Intern – Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage in organized corporate internship activities, encompassing orientation, workshops, networking events, research initiatives, and professional development engagements.

• Support the Internal Audit team by assisting with audit fieldwork across various business sectors.

• Conduct testing for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls.

• Record testing methodologies, findings, and relevant information that underpin audit conclusions.

• Work collaboratively with Audit Managers, auditors, Internal Audit leadership, and business collaborators on audit projects.

• Take part in meetings, training sessions, and team discussions focused on audit processes, risks, controls, compliance, and operational efficiency.

• Contribute to audit assignments while enhancing skills in communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality protocols.

• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's Degree student with sophomore, junior, or senior status at the time of the internship commencement.

• Should not have graduated before the internship start date.

• Proficiency in Excel is preferred.

• Familiarity with AI concepts is preferred.

• Strong critical thinking skills are preferred.

• A comprehensive background check is required.

• Must adhere to company policies, procedures, confidentiality protocols, and comply with applicable laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
